Garden Room with integral storage shed

James and Suzanne had an existing summerhouse that was dated and too cold in the winter for their children to play in. They wanted a modern space they could enjoy all year round, so we built them a fully insulated garden room complete with integral storage shed and plenty of room for a sofa and a racing gaming chair.

​They chose black aluminium 3 panel bifold doors and maintenance free modern slatted composite cladding. We linked up the broadband connection from the house, installed the TV, all electrics, internal and external lighting, laminate flooring, doors, and the room was plastered, painted and ready to use. An air conditioning unit keeps the room cool in summer and warm in winter. The integral shed is a handy storage space for gardening equipment and bikes. It is ply lined and features a lockable 'hidden' door and lighting. 

The family can now enjoy the extra space, especially as the children grow up.
